The MAIN program, in conjunction with its counterpart at the University of Georgia, holds an annual mixer for Auburn University and UGA alumni in Atlanta on the Thursday before each year’s Auburn vs. Georgia football game, widely known as the South’s oldest rivalry. The goal: to engage alumni from both institutions with the hope of increasing involvement and educating minority alumni on the benefits of alumni association membership.

This year’s event, held at The Wine Loft, included a complimentary wine tasting, light hors d’oeuvres and a “human bingo” icebreaker, plus door prizes. The event was free, and nearly 40 Auburn alumni registered to attend.
