Young Alumni
The Auburn Alumni Association continues to explore opportunities to service young alumni—those individuals who graduated 10 or fewer years ago.
The Auburn Alumni Association encourages all of our alumni to become involved with the Auburn Club Program in your area to maintain ties with one another and Auburn University. Oftentimes, Auburn Clubs and other Auburn constituency groups will sponsor events specifically for young alumni.

AUBURN UNIVERSITY PLACES 2ND IN THE SEC CHALLENGE!
Young alumni support of Auburn during year one of the Challenge is encouraging.
Auburn University recently placed second in the SEC Challenge competition that ended June 30th. The year-long battle between SEC schools ended with Auburn and Arkansas tied for second place and Florida in first place. The competition was based solely on young alumni undergraduate giving to their respective alma mater.
Sharon Awtry, Director of Annual Giving, said, "We loved the first year of intense competition among the schools. You can't go anywhere in the world and not come across another Auburn Tiger full of orange and blue spirit. This competition was an opportunity for our most recent undergraduates to step forward and show their school spirit. And, they did! Year two of the competition began July 1st, and throughout the coming year we will be right back out there asking our G.O.L.D. (graduates of the last decade) alumni to help us roar past Arkansas and make gator bait out of Florida! Participating is easy because a gift of any size to any designation allows us to count a young alum."
SEC competition is probably the fiercest in the country. As the SEC Challenge for year two progresses, you can monitor Auburn's success for the year by visiting www.secchallenge.com. And by all means, make your gift today so we can count you!
