Title IX was in its initial stages. It was an exciting time and with our cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams packed full of talent, we soon became a top-ranked force to be reckoned with!

The sky was the limit and I believe it it helped set the stage for so many of us to carry that spirit into our careers and lives.

I’ve been an Early Childhood Educator for 31 years and am so grateful for my Auburn experience–on the track and in the classroom. Auburn’s Department of Education was rigorous and sound and it prepared me abundantly for a lifelong career in teaching. There is no place like Auburn, truly The Loveliest Village on the Plains.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
