Auburn became my forever home immediately. I love my students, the beauty of the city, the warmth of the people. As a Women’s Studies Affiliate, I regularly cross-list my English classes with the program. It is a part of my mission to support young women at Auburn and model for them strength, independence, and intelligence. I make it a rule to include women writers in my courses and explore works of literature that engage with women’s issues and feature strong female characters.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
