An Auburn University employee was standing nearby, and told them, “Don’t worry. We’ll take care of her.” In that moment, my parents understood what it means to be part of the Auburn Family.
As I adjusted to campus life, I began to get to know my sorority sisters, my dorm staff, and my professors. Everyone I was in regular contact with truly cared about me and wanted me to do well at Auburn. I was part of the Auburn Family, and I loved it.
As an upperclassman, I began to “give back” and help incoming freshmen adjust to their newfound independence and to find their niche. I wanted them to feel the love that comes with being part of the Auburn Family.
Now, as an alumna, I get to share Auburn with my children, and with aspiring Auburn freshmen. Auburn University shaped who I am, and the Auburn Family continues to play an active role in my life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
