Eva Lutter ’15: A New Kind of Protein Bar

Eva Lutter helps boost momentum for whole food protein bars

“Not very many people can say they identify with the product they market – RXBAR and the company’s core principles have done exactly that for me from day one.”Meet Eva Lutter. Since graduating Auburn in Spring 2015 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology, she has moved up to the windy city of Chicago, IL. There she found herself marketing for these whole food protein bars that are flooding grocery stores throughout the country.

RXBARs are packed with natural ingredients such as egg whites, fruits, and nuts. The RXBAR team is upfront about their ingredients, because they believe consumers should know and trust what they’re eating. Mint chocolate, blueberry, coffee, and apple cinnamon are just a few of their original flavors.

As Marketing Associate, Lutter promotes their increasing grocery distribution, researches new marketing opportunities, and performs data analysis to track company growth. Her job has helped curb her passion for consumer insights, brand strategy, and consulting.

“You have to assess the risk, identify your best route, and then jump in feet first,” Lutter said.

This valuable lesson taught her that any idea is valuable with the right argument. Lutter is now excited to take her knowledge gained at Auburn and put it to good use with a job that she genuinely enjoys.
