In February 2015, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare sarcoma that required immediate treatment and months of recovery. It was uncertain whether I would be able to start pharmacy school on time.
By the Grace of God, I was released from medical restriction just one day before I was scheduled to report to Auburn for orientation in August. Now, two years later, I’ve just finished my second year at Harrison School of Pharmacy and I am excited to say that I am still CANCER FREE!
There have been many amazing moments in my life, but the day that I walk across that stage to receive my Auburn University degree will be one of my most meaningful accomplishments. It took a lot to get here, but I couldn’t be prouder to call myself an Auburn Woman.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
