I was the first woman to graduate from college on either side of my family. Since graduating with a B.S. in mathematics education in 1984, I earned my Master’s from Texas Tech in 1990. I retired with 30 years in the classroom in May 2015. I taught in 5 different school systems — 3 in Alabama and 2 in Texas. I continue to teach part time at Benjamin Russell High in Alexander City.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
