This award is to spotlight and showcase the excellence and exceptional achievements of outstanding Black Auburn Alumni.  This is a unique opportunity to recognize and honor outstanding Black Alumni who are stellar leaders to the Auburn University community, their college and schools, and in their local communities through professional, volunteer, or personal contributions.

Please submit your nominations by November 30, 2022 for consideration.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a contributing member of the Auburn Alumni Association,
  • Received a degree from Auburn University, and
  • Have significant achievements and contributions to Auburn University, a college or school within the University, the Auburn Alumni Association, civic and community leadership, or professional achievements in their respective field or community with specific contributions to Auburn Black faculty, student, and/or Alumni population.

Note: Current Black Alumni Council members are ineligible to be nominated for this award

Recognition

The award recipient will be honored during the Black Alumni Awards Brunch on April 23, 2023. The award recipient will also be honored across Auburn Alumni Association marketing platforms in the spring and summer of 2023.
