George Robert Prater ’70

I am currently living in Farrukh Nagar, Gurugram, Haryana State, India.

I retired after 30 years of service with the State of Georgia in various rehabilitation related professions. Since “retiring,” I have been a consultant, executive director of a Habitat for Humanity affiliate, part-time bank teller and mayor of Warm Springs, Georgia.

I came to India in 2018 as a volunteer rehabilitation consultant with the Church of the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries. In January 2021, I joined the faculty of Caleb Institute teaching disability studies.
