The park was such a peaceful place with huge trees and the clock tower casting a shadow over the lawn. It was truly the heart of Auburn and made me realize how fortunate I was to be able to attend this great university.
In the spring of 2015 I returned to Auburn for a reunion with three friends from those special years and my room at the hotel had a perfect view of the Samford clock tower.
