And Father to Katie Broun one of these first amazing women to attend Auburn. So Katherine Broun was my Great-Great-great Aunt. I graduated in 1995 with my Bachelors in Education. I have been working at The Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind since I graduated from Auburn. I lived in the Helen Keller Dorm my freshman year in Auburn in the exact same room my Aunt Helen Waller Patterson had lived in when she attended Auburn. Thank you for including the Auburn women from around the world in this wonderful celebration.
