My grandmother (’60), mother (’84), and I (2009) all spent wonderful years on the Plains. It was a wonderful experience to serve as the president of the Beta Xi chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority exactly 50 years after my Nana, Ann Joiner Fitzmorris, served in the same role. My mother and father, Lucia Fitzmorris Woods and Douglas Woods, met in Army ROTC and were married, commissioned, and graduated in the same weekend. Auburn has left a lasting legacy on our family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
