I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew what was expected of me. Being an African-American woman at Auburn taught me how to think and navigate through life by equipping me with the tools and wisdom that have helped me in my ultimate pursuit of being of service to all mankind.
At Auburn, I experienced becoming a wife, mother and I inherited a multitude of incredible lifelong friendships with women who have helped me develop not only professionally, but spiritually along my journey.
Auburn University will always remain my intellectual place of refuge where I entered as a young lady and left as an Auburn Woman.
I will forever believe in Auburn and love it!
