During my undergraduate studies I also spent a summer abroad in England at Oxford. I was a staff writer for the Auburn Plainsman, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and a Lacrosse Little Sister.
After graduation, I worked as a newspaper reporter and then served as the Public Information Officer of the Alabama Court System, where I also served as the spokesperson and speechwriter for the Chief Justice.
Most recently I published a historical fiction novel, Jumpin the Rails!, which received the 2017 Literary Classics Seal of Approval.
