I knew as soon as I entered Auburn city limits that I would love Auburn! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Auburn University on a full academic scholarship. In all likelihood, I was the first black woman from my hometown of Abbeville, Alabama to attend Auburn University.

I participated in as many organizations as I could handle, including NSBE, SWE, ACM, The Glomerata and the Cooperative Education program.  I cherish all of the wonderful experiences I had at Auburn, including my participation in intramural sports – softball, flag football and volleyball.

As a Tigerette (football hostess), I thoroughly enjoyed football game days! I had such a great time at Auburn.

I graduated in June 1998 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.  I spent a great deal of my time on studies, and I have a great career because of my experiences at Auburn.  I’ve traveled near and far as a web developer, including Hawaii!  As an adjunct professor, I try to impart the knowledge and wisdom I gained at Auburn University into all of my students!
